The angel does not fit the description of what we are told angels look like. They are always told to be "perfect". The man is more normal than perfect as if he is a regular person with wings.
It does not fit the idea that angles should look like, because the old man looks like a normal human with wings. While we are told that angles are perfect, which this old man is not.
This passage does fit my idea of an angel
The angel does not fit in my idea I would of thought of the angel would of looked like it was not hurt and probably more clean with a halo.
Good thoughts. I certainly wouldn't expect an angel to be balding, with few teeth, and strewn with parasites! 😕
The very old man with enormous wings does not fit my idea of angel, because the old man is described as ill and almost dieing while i except angels to be healthy and a vision of perfection .
The old man does not fit my idea of an angel. He does not act or look like an angel. He is weary and ill. Although he brought blessings to Pelayo and Elisenda, they were indirect. He is not what you would imagine an angel to be like.
From a young age we were given the idea that an angel has white wings and they are sent from God with a very "holy" structure. This passage does not fit my description of an angel because it just appeared to me like a man with wings with no holy structure.
The very old man with enormous wings did not fit my idea of what an angel should look like. The old man is described as bald with few teeth, weak, with human features. He also did not interact with anyone. Meanwhile, my expectations of an angel are healthy, strong, undefeatable, and willing to communicate with those in need.
The very old man with enormous wings did not fit my idea of an angle. In the story it describes him as old with not teeth. But you would think that angels look perfect
The old man is the polar opposite of what religion and art has constructed and implanted into our memories.
The very old man with enormous wings angel did not fit my idea of an angel because when I think of an angel I think of a human like creature but if that human looked flawless only then would it fit my idea of an angle. The half dead disgusting creature that was described is not clearly bring up an image of an angel in my head except I could only get that image in my head if I plainly visualized the wings the creature had.
The very old man with enormous wings does not fit my idea of an angle because I would expect an angle to be young and beautiful, no old and dying.
The very old man with enormous wings doesn't fit my idea or an angel because an angel would be young and perfect.... not old, with a illness
The description of the angel in the story doesn't fit my idea of what an angel should look like because angels are usually things you look as trustworthy and friendly. An old man with almost no hair on his head with missing teeth and parasites on his wings doesn't look friendly.
The very old man does not fit my expectations of what an angel should be like. The description that they provide make him seem more barbaric and ill rather than an angel who is supposed to be clean and prestine
The description of the angel in my story does not fit to the idea of an angel in my mind. We were taught that Angels had enormous white wings, with a halo, and a luminous light around them. Meanwhile, the story describes the angel as an old man with few teeth, raggedy like wings infested with parasites, and bald.
The description of the angel in the story most definitely does not fit my idea of what an angel should look like. Angels are categorized with things like youth, purity , and righteousness. The angel in the story is described as anything but those characteristics. Angels are perfect and pure , while the angel described sounds like an unhygenic man with a pair of wings .
The very old man with enormous wings doesn't fit my ideal of what a angel should look like or be because the angel does not have a halo and in the story the angel does not have a halo
*the angel doesn't have a halo and angels are said to have a halo
The very old man with enormous wings does not fit my idea of how an angel should look like. Reading stories growing up I would imagine the angel to look like a healthy person with a halo on its head. In the story it described the old man with enormous wings to have few teeth and also to have parasites in his wings.
The old man does not fit the description of an angel. This is because an angel is supposed to be perfect. The old man is bald with nasty teeth.i certainly wouldn't accept him as an angel.
The description of the angel doesnt fit to the expectation of what i would think a angel actually looks like. We have been taught that angels have nice white wings and a halo.
It does not. When we think of angels, we think of them as magical, beautiful people with a halo and wings, which the old man does not have quite compared to other Angels.
The old man does not fit what I would imagine an angel would look like because angels are depicted as perfect, heavenly bodies with graceful wings and a peaceful presence. However the old man in the story that is supposedly an angel, his wings are wrecked and dirty and he's even missing some teeth along with a few feathers. He also doesn't seem to know what the others are talking about when they say he's an angel.
It does not, when I think of angels I picture them being perfect and healthy. Not like the one in "A Very Old Man with Enormous Wings"
It doesn't because an angel to me is a person who helps another person struggling, they are also kind , young and healthy looking . The way this story has put the Angel is not the way I thought of an angel
The old man has a different depiction then what religion and art show and angels are meant to be protect people
Write something about yourself. No need to be fancy, just an overview.
